Hey there! I recently visited Perrin Park, and it was such a blast! The equipment, though a bit old, was surprisingly fun to play on. The only downside is that it’s all metal, so it can get pretty hot. My tip for dealing with hot surfaces is to check the temperature before letting the little ones loose and maybe bring along a towel or something to sit on.
The park itself is fantastic, surrounded by nature with a well-thought-out walking trail weaving through trees and around a lake. The variety of wildlife, from large squirrels to geese and ducks, added a charming touch. The staff takes pride in maintaining the park, and the clean restroom was a plus.
The memorial trail with beautiful flowers and trees was a highlight for me. Oh, and be cautious of the geese – one tried to charge my friend, but we just laughed it off. It wasn’t too crowded, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful.
I highly recommend Perrin Park to family and friends. The 1+ mile walking/run path, exercise areas, playground, and the Teddy Bear Place make it a great family destination. Can’t wait to go back and explore more!
